I don’t have prior ballet training. Can I join the classes and benefit from the training?

Yes, absolutely! You don’t need to have any previous ballet training, we teach you everything you need to know on how to create beautiful, strong and flexible ballet body.

What do I wear?

Wear comfortable exercise clothes. For footwear we recommend soft ballet shoes that can be bought at any ballet store. If you don’t ballet shoes – start regular socks.

What if I don’t have a dancer’s body?

No worries! Ballet Body Sculpture’s body-positive training method is designed for everybody. You don’t have to be any particular size or shape and you don’t need to be flexible or coordinated. We will teach you everything you need to know on how to create your best physique using ballet techniques.

Do I need a ballet barre or other special equipment?

No special equipment is requires except a regular floor mat. You do not need a ballet barre. Just use the back of a stable chair or a countertop for balance.

Is Ballet Body Sculpture similar to a barre class?

No, but Ballet is the original (and best!) barre workout. Ballet Body Sculpture is a unique combination of Pilates, stretching, strengthening and authentic ballet training. Other than a hand on the barre, there are no weights or other props. A couple of barre moves may look like ballet, but the similarity is just the barre itself. Ballet technique is authentic and accessible to teach only to ballet professionals, it works posture, core, and extension to lengthen and refine muscles and develop physical grace and elegance.

Is ballet a good workout?

Ballet is the ultimate workout for people who want to refine their bodies. The more correctly you do the technique, the more intense it becomes and the more you will see results, it will always engage not just the whole body but also your mind, helping to improve your focus, memory, confidence and attention. It’s the journey of never ending improvement. Ballet also works smaller muscles many workouts leave out.
