Gift Yourself Some Love

Self-love is a crucial part of your health and happiness. It can be hard something to carve out “me-time” in our demanding schedules or social interactions, however when we treat ourselves with affection and understanding we give others a possibility to appreciate us more too. It also allows reaching the goals easier and faster, setting up a mirror exchange with the world of giving and receiving, which creates a deeper meaning in our lives.

1. Treat yourself to a workout that feels good.

Treating the body with the meaningful exercise is a big part of our self love expression. Choose a workout that is going to relax and uplift you, nourish your muscles, alight the posture, improve your circulation and overall wellbeing, not one that’s going to feel punishing. Sometimes we think of exercise as a chore, or something we need to do; but the right workout feels good and should be something you look forward to. No matter how small the workout, it will leave you feeling accomplished and less stressed. 2. Carve Out Some Relaxing “Me-Time.”

This can be a challenge, especially when we have a lot on our plate - but it’s so important! Make some time for yourself and choose a solo activity that will help you reset and leave you feeling refreshed. This may feel “selfish” but it’s just the opposite! When you’re stretched too thin, it’s difficult to give 100% to our family, friends, or work - dedicating time to ourselves means we’re better equipped to tackle our responsibilities and take care of others. Take a hot bath, get a massage, go for a walk and listen to music, or go out for a solo meal with your favorite book. Choose something that will be therapeutic or meditative so you can let go of any intrusive thoughts or worries.

3. Get Yourself a Gift!

This can be as small or big as you want - maybe it’s , a book, a candle, or a bar of dark chocolate (no guilt allowed!) or even a Personal Training Class, to give yourself a possibility to focus on personal needs, dreams & desires, gaining personal attention, carefully developed personal program, motivating to achieve your perfect results. The point is to treat yourself with love and celebrate yourself - you deserve it!
